मुक्कुमलुङको आवाज

शिरिजङ्गाको सपना, यलम्बरको हुंकार, धेरै टाढाबाट सुनिन्छ मुक्कुम्लुङको पुकार। सयौँ जन्मको सुस्केरा, पहाडको छातीमा, अझै जीवित छ, किरात पुर्खाको गीतमा। यो ढुंगा होइन, आत्माको संकल्प हो, यो वन होइन, प्रकृतिको कसम हो। यहाँ हावा चल्दैन, पुर्खाहरूको श्वास बग्छ, यहाँ पानी झर्दैन, आकाशले आँसु झार्छ। रू पहिरो झरे पनि इतिहास झर्दैन, रूख ढले पनि जरा मर्दैन। हाम्रा देवता छातीमा उभिन्छन्, हाम्रा पुर्खा सम्झनामा दीप बनेर बल्छन्। केबल कारको तुवाँलोले छोप्न सक्छ र? यो पवित्र ढुंगाको उज्यालो बिहान? शब्दहरूले ओझेल पार्न सक्छ र? लिम्बू आत्माको मौलिक स्वाभिमान? हाम्रो यात्रा पहाडसँगै बोल्छ, हाम्रो भाषा हावासँगै बग्छ। हामीलाई उड्न पखेटा चाहिँदैन, हामीलाई चढ्न मेसिन चाहिँदैन। यो भूमिमा टेक्न गहिरो सम्मान चाहिन्छ, यो पवित्रता छुन शुद्ध आत्मा चाहिन्छ। यदि तिमी मुक्कुम्लुङ पुग्न चाहन्छौ भने, पहिले आफ्नै भित्री आवाज सुन्न सक्नुपर्छ।
